We are seeking a new Assembler to perform assembly and sub-assembly operations (muff assembly, pumping resins, bad cutting, etc.) to produce repair kits for pipe rehabilitation within the natural gas distribution industry. The assembler will work with a small team to accomplish goals each day.

While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PMVery infrequently, additional work may be needed on a Saturday.

 

Assembler Main Responsibilities:

  • Build sub-assemblies from raw materials according to shop orders.
  • Produce complete repair kits using sub-assemblies and remaining parts.
  • Package and label completed repair kits.
  • Place completed repair kits on the pallet to be transferred to the finished goods area.
  • Assist at different work stations as production needs require.

 

Assembler Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive, team player mentality
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally move 55-gallon drums (weighing 500 pounds) with the use of a handcart
