How do I apply for a position with Miller Pipeline?
To apply for a position with Miller Pipeline, see the Search Jobs tab. You’ll see a full list of our current openings organized by teams: Natural Gas Distribution, Municipal Services and Support. We encourage you to complete the Quick Apply even if you don’t see a position you are interested in – we are always looking for qualified team members!
How will I know if I am a good fit?
Our HR team reviews all applications and if you seem like you may be a good candidate for a current open position, we’ll reach out to you.
What are the pay/benefits like?

What are the normal working hours? Is there an opportunity for overtime?
Typically, our employees work day shift, Monday through Friday. The hours can vary depending on work load, but it’s not unusual for crews to work 8-10 hours per day, five days a week. If you like to earn time and a half by working overtime, you’ve come to the right place. We have overtime opportunities from coast to coast.

Will I be a union employee?
The majority of Miller Pipeline’s 3,000+ employees are represented by one of several unions. Your status will depend on the position you are seeking along with the location.
How long does it take to get hired at Miller Pipeline?
The hiring process depends on the position you are seeking and where. We post positions with the intent to hire qualified people immediately. If you are contacted for an interview it should only take a few weeks, depending on your availability.
Do I need to have experience working with natural gas distribution or municipal services to be hired?
We prefer previous experience but it is not required, this is indicated on each job position. If you are reliable, hard-working and willing to embrace our core values, then you can have a gratifying long-term career at Miller Pipeline without previous experience. We will teach you what you need to know!
What does a normal day look like at Miller Pipeline?

Are there opportunities to help me grow as a Miller Pipeline employee?
We continuously provide paid training at Miller. Of our 3,000+ employees, over half are on their second, third or fourth job with the company. People advance every day by embracing our values and working hard. Because of our record-breaking growth and plans for continued expansion, we are looking for people who want to advance as high as possible! We hire employees with the expectation that they will advance.
Will I need to travel to be part of Miller Pipeline?
The travel requirements depend on the job location. If you have a position where overnight travel is expected, we provide overnight accommodations, per diem money for meals, etc. Be sure to indicate your ability to travel on the Quick Apply.
Does Miller Pipeline have lay-offs?
Miller Pipeline considers ourselves a 12-month employer, which sets us apart in our industry. In our northernmost locations (Northern Michigan, parts of Northern Indiana and Ohio) we can get impacted by winter weather at times. We look for every opportunity to use that time for paid Safety and Operator training. There are times where this is not possible, but we provide advanced notice to employees who may be impacted.
Is there a place to submit my resume without completing a full application?
Yes! The Quick Apply asks for some basic information and there is an option to upload your resume. It’s a fast and easy process.
